The much awaited Maiden Rose! When I first read the manga, I was freaked out by the… somewhat… interesting story line. I didn’t understand how RAPE is considered a form of expressing your love for someone. Kinda BDSM if you ask me. Mnn. But oh well! Once you get over that bizarreness, it’s a pretty good read! (Anyway, alot of yaoi smex scenes revolve around non-con, so whatever!) The anime didn’t disappoint!Taki was really pretty!!! *fangirl* Such a pretty uke… a commander to boot! And Inoue-sama brought Klaus to life perfectly!!! *swoons* A war setting, forbidden love between a commander and his soldier, non-con (done wonderfully!), master and his servant… PERFECT! I cannot remember any recent Yaoi anime that showed this much skin in the smex scenes… So I’m happy! Ha…
And there is a pleasant surprise for everyone at the end of OVA 1. Chibi- Maiden Rose! CUTE!

I haven’t read the manga yet, but I plan to. I liked the anime but I hate cliffhangers so I was a little bugged. Anyways it was really good. There are tons of yaoi anime’s that show more smexiness in my opinion like haru wu daiteta (might be misspelling there), junjo romantica (certain scenes were to die for), kirepapa, hmm picotochico …..
